2015年4月小隐建筑创立于中国成都。意象建筑论的开创者和践行者，意象建筑流派的先锋代表。小隐建筑秉承“以意赋象，以象见意”，诗画创作结合东方哲学思考的建筑创作方法，是"天人合一"的东方哲学思想的抽象建筑表现形式，是对诗意生活的向往和情景再现。意象作为人与自然相通的媒介，是一种“场景化”的存在，包含了现实与想象。意象建筑以自然和人文意象中提炼出来的建筑元素构建场景，赋予建筑强烈的可读性和可识别性，进而形成叙事性的建筑空间，表达出特定的审美观点和艺术性的文化共情感，实现建筑的艺术升华。
Archermit was founded in Chengdu, China in April 2015. It is the pioneer and practitioner of the Imagist Theory of Architecture, and a leading representative of the Imagist Architecture movement. Archermit adheres to the method of “Endowing forms with Ideas, perceiving Ideas through forms,” an architectural creative approach that combines poetic and pictorial expression with Eastern philosophical thinking. This approach is an abstract architectural manifestation of the Eastern philosophy of “Unity of Heaven and Man,” and a recreation of the aspiration for poetic living. Imagery, as a medium connecting humans and nature, is a “scenario-based” existence that encompasses both reality and imagination. Imagist architecture uses architectural elements extracted from natural and humanistic imagery to construct scenes, endowing the architecture with strong legibility and recognizability, thereby creating narrative architectural spaces. It expresses specific aesthetic viewpoints and artistic cultural empathy, achieving the artistic sublimation of architecture.

“小隐于野”源于晋代王康琚之《反招隐诗》“小隐隐陵薮，大隐隐朝市”，取景山野湖泊，探求建筑与自然的场域交融；
“不在山林”取唐代白居易之《玩新庭树因咏所怀》“始知真隐者，不必在山林”，指代城市中项目，开凿闹市中的一方净土。
"Hidden in the Wild" originated from Wang Kang Ju's "Poem Against Recruitment of Seclusion" of the Jin Dynasty, "Formal seclusion is hidden in the mountains and lakes, mental seclusion is hidden in the city", which is based on the natural scenery, and explores the integration of the architecture and wild fields;
"Not in the mountains and forests" is taken from Bai Juyi's " Reflecting on My Feelings about the Sprouting of Trees in the Courtyard" in the Tang Dynasty, "the true hermit does not need to be in the mountains and forests", which refers to the projects in the city, and is an attempt to excavate a pure land in the downtown area.
